My Background
I've been behind a camera continuously for most of my life. I graduated from the requisite starter- an Instamatic box camera- to my first SLR (a Minolta SRT-101 for you camera geeks) during my summers spent at a camp with a darkroom and regular exposure (sorry, couldn't help it) to photography as one of the regular rotating activities. I shot yearbook photography for several years through high school, also spending inordinate amounts of time in my basement darkroom processing and printing black and white photographs. Continuing to shoot landscape and atmospheric scenes on my own in the decades following, I've accumulated a significant quantity of a wide range of images in my 'archives'. I'm working my way through thousands of iphoto images to cull out my favorites which will appear here. At some point in the near future I hope to do similarly with my several thousand slides currently sitting in storage boxes, once they've been scanned. Haven't even yet considered the shoebox of black and white negatives sitting in our closet. Consequently this collection will grow over time, likely in fits and spurts as time allows. Enjoy!
